The RaSiM 11 symposium offers the following social events and a possibility to get more acquainted to the unique environment in northern Scandinavia.

 

Welcome Reception

Monday, August 25

We're kicking off the symposium with a welcome reception in the exhibition area at the conference venue, Kulturens Hus.

  • Time: Drop in from 19.00. The evening ends at 21.00.


The price for attending the welcome reception is included in the symposium fee.
A mingle plate and welcome drink are included. Drinks will also be available for purchase.

Archipelago Dinner Cruise

Tuesday, August 26

Off the coast lies a unique and beautiful archipelago of a thousand islands. We invite all delegates, sponsors, and exhibitors to join us for an evening on the water. We hope this will be one of the highlights of your visit to Northern Sweden.

  • Time: 18.30 - 21.30


The price for attending the dinner is SEK 1125 SEK.
A guided boat ride through Luleås archipelago, welcome drink, a one-course dinner with coffee, tea, and chocolate are included.

Symposium Dinner

Wednesday, August 27

The RaSiM 11 symposium dinner will be held on Wednesday, August 27th at Elite Stadshotellet. We invite all delegates, sponsors, and exhibitors to join us for an evening of fine dining and networking.

The price for attending the dinner is SEK 750 SEK.
A three-course dinner and drink package is included.

Gammelstad Church Village

Looking for more things to do in Luleå?

The old town of Luleå, is a typical northern Scandinavian church village and has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Surrounding the late-medieval church are more than 400 wooden cottages that parishioners used during church festivals.
